Pat Robertson Resigns as President of CBN: The 63-year-old television evangelist who launched an unsuccessful bid for President in 1988 is stepping down from the Christian Broadcasting Network Inc., CBN said. Robertson retains his role as chief executive and chairman of the company, which he founded. But he is relinquishing control of day-to-day management due to a heavy workload. CBN said he is being replaced as president by Michael Little, a 21-year veteran of the company, who also has been appointed chief operating officer.
