POMONA : 2 Found Shot to Death Inside Wrecked Van

Pomona police officers investigating a report of a traffic accident late Wednesday discovered two 23-year-old men fatally shot inside a Volkswagen van.
The names of the two men, one from Pomona, were withheld pending notification of relatives, Lt. Leon Sakamoto said.
Officers were called to the 2200 block of Belinda Avenue at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of a traffic collision and gunshots, Sakamoto said. Officers found the van against a tree and fence with the driver shot twice and the passenger shot numerous times.
Police have no motive or suspects in the shooting, he said.
