LOS ANGELES : Consulate Open House to Mark Belgian King’s Death

The consulate general of Belgium is holding an open house in Los Angeles today for the signing of a book of condolences marking the death of King Baudouin.
The Belgian monarch, who reigned for 42 years, died of a heart attack Saturday while vacationing in Spain. He is being succeeded by his brother, Prince Albert.
The book of condolences will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the consulate at 6100 Wilshire Blvd., officials said.
