School: Sunny Hills Sport: Tennis Class: Senior Robbins was undefeated in singles in dual matches this season (62-0), but when Coach Steve White asked him to switch to doubles in the Southern Section Division II team championship, he agreed without a complaint. “He’s not really individually oriented; he really cares about the team,” White said. “That’s why he didn’t mind playing doubles.” Robbins joined Jason Nevadomsky at No. 1 doubles and they won their sets, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3, to lead the second-seeded Lancers to an 11-7 victory over top-seeded North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake Wednesday. Nevadomsky, who plans to play football at Fullerton College next season, and Robbins, who plans to play tennis at Southern California College, both played on Sunny Hills’ last championship team in 1991.
