Datron Systems Inc. of Simi Valley said it sold its Transco switch-product line to Dow-Key Microwave Corp., a privately owned Ventura company, for $600,000 cash.
The sale was part of a corporate restructuring for Datron, a maker of specialized communications systems and radio products.
The Transco line generated about $1.5 million of Datron’s $54.1 million of revenue for its latest fiscal year that ended March 31. Datron had a net loss for the year of $8.4 million.
