Booth Retains Golf Tournament Title

Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza shot a par-72 to rally from a two-stroke deficit and retain her title at the Golf for Women magazine girls’ championship Monday at El Conquistador Country Club in Tucson, Ariz.
Second-round leader Skyli Yamada of Sandy, Utah, shot 75 to finish one stroke behind Booth, who was one-over 217 for the 54-hole tournament.
Alicia Allison of Santa Ana was ninth, 16 strokes behind Booth.

Chris Berry of Yorba Linda shot 79 to finish tied for eighth at the CCA junior golf championship Monday at Firestone Country Club north course in Akron, Ohio.
Winner Ted Oh of Torrance shot a two-over 74 to finish the 54-hole tournament at five-over 221, nine strokes ahead of Berry.
Ben Garner of Lake Forest shot an 80 to finish at 239.
In the 13-14 division, Fullerton’s Jin Park shot an 81 to finish second, two strokes behind winner Nicholas Cassini of Atlanta.
