Expert in CPR Saves Granddaughter--Twice

PEA RIDGE, Fla. — A former CPR instructor first saved his granddaughter when she was born at home in 1990. She emerged into the world blue and took her first breath only after he performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
David Nuckolls came to the rescue again when 3-year-old Sarah Hall fell into the swimming pool at his home. She was found face down in nearly five feet of water. Her grandfather, now a certified respiratory therapy technician, checked for vital signs but found no heartbeat or breathing.
After two or three minutes of CPR, she started to breath and was later treated and released from the hospital.
