South Gate 13, Lincoln 2--Alonzo Lopez continued to prove he is one of the top pitchers in the area.

Lopez struck out four batters, walked one and pitched a complete game at South Gate Park.

South Gate erupted for four runs in the second. Jose Montenegro, who went 2-for-3, highlighted the inning with a two-run double that gave South Gate a 5-1 lead.

South Gate racked up four more runs in the fourth. Rob Pineda, who hit a two-run triple, scored on Carlos Molina’s single to increase the Rams’ lead to 10-1.
