Court Backs ‘Baby Bell’ Information Sales: The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia upheld a district judge’s order allowing the seven “Baby Bell” telephone companies to produce and package information to be sold over business and home phone lines. The companies plan to offer subscribers electronic information such as sports scores, medical records and education programs.
