NO DEAL: A group of Latino constituents took Republican Assemblyman Pete Knight to task Sunday for distributing a racist poem lampooning illegal immigrants. . . . While Knight issued another apology for handing out copies of the poem, the group walked away without any commitment from Knight to hire Latino staff members or work for a state holiday honoring farm labor leader Cesar Chavez (B1).
