* United Artists Cable Corp., a Van Nuys-based cable-television operator, said it promoted Ron Stark to marketing manager.
Stark, who joined United Artists in 1991, was formerly the company’s advertising-sales marketing supervisor. In his new post, Stark succeeds Scott Gretencord, who resigned, United Artists said.
