Tailhook Officers Faulted

In response to “140 Officers Faulted in Tailhook Sex Scandal,” April 24:

So once again the solution to an apprehended problem is: “There oughta be a law.” But the military is full of laws and regulations sufficient to deal with almost anything. Isn’t the real problem a failure of the moral underpinnings of the nation? What is perceived to be acceptable arises out of national attitudes. The ladies complain that they are and were an underclass. But I assure you, we World War II-types would never have dreamed to insult the fair sex in such a manner.
