Jermaine Galloway, former all-county basketball player from Kennedy, said he will transfer to San Francisco after leaving DePaul at the end of the semester.

Galloway, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward, played in eight games for DePaul last season, averaging 0.5 points and 0.4 rebounds. He will redshirt next season. He was released from his scholarship last week.

“I wanted to go to a program where I felt more needed,” Galloway said. “I want my game to progress.”
