U.S., EC Fail to Reach Trade Agreement: Trade negotiators failed to strike a deal in a fractious public contracts dispute and scheduled one final day of talks in an effort to avoid a retaliatory trade war. After pushing back deadline after deadline, the top U.S. and European negotiators said they wanted one last shot at bridging their differences.
