West Hollywood : Children’s Film Matinee

“Charlotte’s Web,” the animated version of E. B. White’s classic children’s book, is the upcoming feature at the Saturday matinee series of the American Cinematheque at the Directors Guild.
Conceived to revive an American tradition, the matinees take place the second Saturday of each month. A feature film and cartoon are shown.
“Charlotte’s Web” will be shown with “The Mechanical Monsters,” a cartoon featuring Superman’s battle against murderous robots, at 2 p.m. Saturday. The program is presented in association with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at 7920 Sunset Blvd.
Cost is $6; members and children $3. Parking is free under the Cinematheque building. Call: (213) 466-FILM.
