MOVIN’ IN: Cheaper housing means more local residents are grabbing that suburban ideal--the single-family detached home (D5). Last year, 67% of buyers nabbed such homes, up from 60% before. “We’re seeing more and more projects with starting prices under $190,000,” says home marketing specialist Jeff Meyers. “In 1988-89, there wasn’t a single-family detached home in the county under $200,000.”
