Employer Accused of Workers’ Comp Fraud: A federal grand jury in Los Angeles indicted Glenn Russell Miller of Costa Mesa, the operator of two temporary employment agencies, on four counts of mail fraud in connection with an alleged workers’ compensation fraud. Prosecutors said they believe that the case is the first federal prosecution of an employer for alleged workers’ compensation fraud. Miller operated Safeway Staffing in Bell Gardens and Sunbelt Services in Los Angeles.
