Edison 3, Palos Verdes Peninsula 0--Christine Tyler scored 15 minutes into the game then added a second-half goal for visiting Edison (21-5-1), which advanced to play the Simi Valley-Glendora St. Lucy’s winner in Thursday’s quarterfinals. Erin Bailey had Edison’s other goal.
