Song Contest Will Have L.A. Theme

The Musicians Institute will sponsor the “Help Heal L.A....Through Music” songwriting contest.
Songwriters are asked to submit material that is uplifting and inspires a sense of unification. Submissions are due no later than April 26.
The winner will receive $1,000 in cash, a $7,500 scholarship to the school and musical equipment. Second- and third-place winners will also receive scholarships. For entry forms and information, call (213) 462-1384.
