I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read “Woo Far Ahead of the Pack in Mayor’s Race” (Times Poll, Feb. 5).
Politics has reached a new low when a guy like Woo emerges as the top contender in the mayor’s race. As a Hollywood resident, I am alarmed by the rising numbers of transients on the streets. I can’t even pick up my mail at the post office without strangers bolting toward me demanding money. What has Woo done for his constituents besides riding in gay and lesbian parades, planting a few trees and never missing photo opportunities?
