State, Lucky Stores announce Milk Recall

SACRAMENTO — State health officials and Lucky Stores announced Friday the recall of more than 51,000 gallons of milk sold at Lucky outlets, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, saying the milk contained excessive amounts of Vitamin D.
There were no reports of injuries from the over-fortified milk. Symptoms from excessive Vitamin D include cramping and vomiting.
Consumers who bought the milk, sold at Lucky Stores on Thursday and Friday, may return the products, opened or unopened, to Lucky markets for replacement.
