RECYCLING ADVOCATE: The state’s 31 new legislators will be sworn in Monday in Sacramento. Among them will be Assemblyman Curt Pringle (R-Garden Grove) who describes himself as “not new, just recycled.” . . . . When Democrat Tom Umberg ousted Pringle from his Assembly seat two years ago, the conservative Pringle didn’t entertain any thought of giving up politics. “At 31, I was too young to retire,” he quips. Redistricting gave him an opening to run without facing Umberg, in the 68th District, which Pringle won handily.
