Moschetti threw for 211 yards and four touchdowns as La Mirada defeated Trabuco Hills, 35-21, in a CIF Southern Section Division VII playoff game. Two of his touchdowns were thrown to running back Ryan Hura. The others were a 21-yard throw to Jason Evans and a 9-yard toss to Albert Smith. La Mirada will play La Sierra in a semifinal game Friday at Riverside City College.

Steve Sethman, Whittier High running back, rushed for 140 yards and scored three touchdowns as the Cardinals defeated Arroyo, 34-7, in a Division VI playoff game. The Cardinals will travel to Valencia for a semifinal game Friday.

Francisco Samano, star running back for Bell Gardens High, gained 102 yards as the Lancers defeated Peninsula, 23-6, in a Division III playoff contest. The Lancers play at Camarillo in a semifinal game Friday.
