Ventura 47, Dos Pueblos 7--Fullback Devon Passno and tailback Derek Swafford combined for 279 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead visiting Ventura (5-1, 2-1). Passno had 151 yards in seven carries, including touchdown runs of 40 and 67 yards. Swafford finished with 128 yards in 10 carries.

Ventura quarterback Mike Ellis scored on a one-yard run and also added six of seven extra-point kicks and made field goals of 29 and 39 yards. Junior defensive back Mike Urteaga recovered a fumble and raced 20 yards for a Ventura touchdown in the fourth quarter.
