Westminster’s Tammy Liley had 12 kills in the U.S. national volleyball team’s 15-5, 15-9, 15-5 loss to China Friday in the first round of the Hong Kong Cup.
Liley, a former Ocean View High standout and two-time Olympian, is one of only five members returning from the 1992 Olympic bronze medal team. The United States will meet Cuba today in the next round of the round-robin tournament.
