It’s time somebody sat down and told Elgin Baylor, Larry Brown and Donald Sterling just how stupid they are after these latest trades.
For years, the Clippers have failed to take lessons from the Lakers: You don’t win on ability alone--you need discipline, sacrifice, intelligence and a character-forming chemistry involving the right kind of people. What the Clippers have now are the wrong components. They broke up the backbone of a good young team and picked up a lot of journeyman riffraff.
