“What About Tomorrow? Battling Breast Cancer,” Sunday at 7 p.m. on KTLA-TV Channel 5, a special hosted by Susan Ruttan, is designed to promote public awareness, early detection and treatment, and will focus on one woman’s ordeal with breast cancer, which is now considered one of the three leading fatal diseases confronting American women.
The Toronto Blue Jays, the first team from outside the United States to appear in the World Series, will play Atlanta in the classic, beginning today with Game 1, 5:29 p.m. (2)(8) and Game 2, Sunday, also 5:29 p.m.
With the general election just over two weeks away, the presidential campaigns and debates will be popular topics on news and talk shows.
Sen. Al Gore, Democratic vice presidential nominee, will be a guest on “Business World,” Sunday, 11 a.m. (7)(3), 10 a.m. (42).
