Charles H. Dolson Jr., 86, a Delta Air Lines pilot who rose to chairman and chief executive officer of the airline. He joined Delta in 1934 and was chief pilot from 1941 to 1947 before becoming vice president of operations. He was chief executive officer from 1966 to 1971 and chairman in 1971 and 1972.
