CAGED ANIMALS, WILD HUNTERS
While reading the piece on canned hunts, I felt immense sadness. I found it odd that I was more moved by this than stories of cruelty to children. I also found it horribly ironic that the black leopard killed by Ty Bourgeois was mounted and donated to a high school.
What kind of example is this for high school students, or for anyone? Shouldn’t high school students be taught that animals are more beautiful alive than dead?
