About 1,200 friends, relatives and former players paid tribute to Pittsburgh Penguin coach Bob Johnson at his funeral in Colorado Springs, Colo., praising him as someone who knew how “to make you better than you are.”
Penguin players and administrators attended services at the First Presbyterian Church. Johnson, 60, who led the Penguins to the Stanley Cup last season, died of brain cancer last Tuesday.
