Forest Tennant, the controversial former NFL drug adviser, said that in 1988 a group of Philadelphia Eagles had a technician drain their bladders of steroid-tainted urine, then refill them with clean urine so they could pass a drug test.
Tennant said he was called by a player who participated in the procedure. Team president Harry Gamble declined comment, and trainer Otho Davis said he did not recall such an incident.
