Sites Determined for Football Playoffs

Sites for three of this weekend’s four Section quarterfinal football games have been determined.
In 2-A, San Pasqual will go against La Jolla at Torrey Pines High on Friday, and El Camino and El Capitan will play Saturday at Mira Mesa High.
In 3-A, Chula Vista gets a slight advantage in its game Friday against Point Loma by playing at familiar and nearby Southwestern College. The Vista-Mira Mesa game will be played Saturday, possibly at Mesa College.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The University of San Diego suffered an 84-68 loss to Providence College in the fifth-place game of the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu. USD (1-3) was led by Jill Shaver’s 22 points. Tracy Lis scored 26 for Providence (3-1).
