BCCI Plea Bargain May Be Struck: Lawyers for liquidators of the Bank of Credit & Commerce International and New York prosecutors are trying to resolve criminal charges against BCCI while protecting depositors, parties to the talks said. Kenneth A. Caruso, an attorney representing BCCI liquidators in England, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands, said he would not characterize the talks as plea bargaining. However, a prosecution source said, “It might come to that.”
