Cordero Draws 7-Day Suspension

NEW YORK — Jockey Angel Cordero Jr. was suspended for seven days Friday by Aqueduct stewards for “careless riding” in Aqueduct’s sixth race on Nov. 7. His suspension starts Monday.
His mount in the race, Silvaplana, was disqualified from second and placed third for interference in the stretch.
