Officials with the Southwest Conference are interested in a newly proposed Alamo Bowl, which would make its debut on New Year’s Eve 1993 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, SWC Commissioner Fred Jacoby said. An agreement would be contingent on the bowl earning its NCAA certification.
