Mr. Murphy Goes to Washington: Eddie Murphy will star in Hollywood Pictures’ “The Distinguished Gentleman,” his first film for Walt Disney Studios, it was announced Tuesday. Murphy will play a con artist who scams his way into Congress. The movie begins production in April, after Murphy finishes work on his upcoming project for Paramount, “Boomerang.” The Disney film will be produced by Leonard Goldberg (“Sleeping With the Enemy”).
