Striking ‘Sands’: A disagreement over a labor contract prompted workers to walk off the set of the film “White Sands” in Santa Fe, N.M., on Monday night, but they returned Tuesday after an agreement was negotiated. One of the stars, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, refused to cross the picket line during the dispute. The contemporary thriller also stars Mickey Rourke, Willem Dafoe and Mimi Rogers.
