Orange County commuters are convinced that traffic on both the local freeways and surface streets is worse than it was a year ago. By ratios of about 5 to 1 in both instances, commuters view the traffic situation as having deteriorated.
If it is any consolation, Orange County commuters are not alone in their perceptions. Those in other counties around Southern California are generally at least as likely to share this viewpoint.
