Siamese twins who shared organs and were not expected to live for a year died at the age of 7. Ruthie and Verena Cady, who died in South Kingston, R.I., were born joined at the chest with a single, three-chambered heart and a shared liver. They nonetheless learned to roller-skate, ride a tricycle and ski.
