MARATHON MEETING: After an all-day, closed-door briefing Friday on the state of the county budget, supervisors’ aides emerged wringing their hands. . . . Budget experts say the county is $63 million short, and few departments are expected to go unscathed. “It was not a pretty sight,” one insider reported. “If this were a corporation, I’d be advising the shareholders to sell.”
