TUSTIN : District Teachers Go to Summer School
- Share via
Along with students, some Tustin Unified School District teachers are taking classes this summer in the district’s first Summer Institute.
The series of professional classes is aimed at helping teaching and support staff meet the needs of an increasingly diverse student population. The courses are being funded by various grants and other district funds.
Some classes have already begun, with others scheduled to start in July and August. Class titles include “Early Intervention for School Success,” “Hands-On, Heads-Up Math” for grades three to eight, and “Math Their Way” for kindergarten through second-grade teachers.
