Greenpeace Wants Warnings in Car Ads: The Belgian branch of the environmental group called for warning labels like those on cigarette packs on advertisements for automobiles. Car ads on billboards or in newspapers should carry a stamp saying “seriously damages the environment” and include the amount of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons the car releases, the group said. It proposed banning auto ads from television.
