BIG APPLE: The Orange County Youth Symphony is off to New York City on Wednesday to play Carnegie Hall and the United Nations. . . . As part of a Youth Orchestra Debut Series, the OCYS will play music by Beethoven, Dvorak, Charles Ives and Leonard Bernstein. It’s the same program the group will be offering Sunday at 4 p.m. at Chapman College in Orange.
