Agoura Hills Law Was Proper Step

I am confused. It is my understanding that according to the current immigration law , it is against the law to hire illegal immigrants.
The Agoura Hills ordinance is to be commended. I only hope the city of Los Angeles adopts a similar policy so that our streets and neighborhoods could once again be a cleaner and safer place to live.
