Readers Decry Dornan’s Actions on Plane

I read the article concerning an airline flight attendant and Robert K. Dornan. As a retired Air Force pilot and (I’m sorry to say) a California Republican, I would like to congratulate the flight attendant.
Rules are made by the FAA for the safety of all passengers, with no exceptions for hot-headed congressmen impressed with their own importance.
Dornan says that he will look at the disabilities bill. He should do just that. The airlines bend over backward for disabled people. Too much so, I think. Most people in his shape would have purchased extra tickets to allow them to stretch out or made special arrangements with the airline for a first-class rear seat where they would not endanger or inconvenience anyone else. In this case Dornan is evidently pinching pennies. He should do as well in Congress with our money. I can see the Democrats laughing now.
Again, kudos to the flight attendant. Keep up the good work. I suggest getting the names of the stewardesses that let him keep the seat partly reclined and send them back through refresher training.
