‘Grindcore’

Oh, geez, decisions, decisions at the record rack. What shall it be?

Maybe some “grindcore” (“Grind!” June 2). After all, one band, Napalm Death, wants to cause bowel movements through its music. Or how about N.W.A? I mean, Jonathan Gold gave 3 1/2 stars to an album he called “hideous” toward women (June 9).

I think I’ll settle for some sort of middle ground and just pick up a Van Morrison album.
