ANAHEIM : State Money Sought to Add Sidewalks
- Share via
The City Council has asked for money from the state to install more sidewalks throughout the city.
The city has requested an $83,000 grant to pay for about 3,440 feet of sidewalk as part of the “Safe Walk to School Route” program. The sidewalks would be built along Orangewood Avenue, Westmont Drive, South Street, East Street and Gaymont Street.
The city hopes to hear from the state in coming weeks, and if approved, would begin seeking a contractor for the project.
