A motorist stopped at a red light in Inglewood was shot and killed in a suspected gang-related attack, police said Monday.
Paul D. Whitten, 22, of Los Angeles was found shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday, slumped over the wheel of a car that had come to a stop at Crenshaw Boulevard and 82nd Street. He died a short time later at Daniel Freeman Memorial Medical Center, Sgt. Ed Eccles said.
Whitten had apparently stopped at the light when he was shot. No arrests had been made, Eccles said.
