Jill Hunter of Great Britain set a course record of 51:56 as she won the women’s title in the Cherry Blossom 10-mile run in Washington, D.C.
Hunter, a native of Newcastle, England, broke Lisa Martin’s record of 52:23 set in 1987. Carl Thackery of Great Britain won the men’s title in 46:25.
