Boeing to Expand Washington Plant: The Seattle-based aerospace giant is proposing a $1.5-billion expansion of its Everett, Wash., production plant that would add nearly 10,000 new jobs in the next four years. The expansion would accommodate construction of Boeing’s newest plane, the 777 jetliner, and stepped-up construction of its 747s and 767s.
